Layanan berbasis lokasi

Fitur yang semakin terjangkau dan populer pada piranti bergerak adalah kemampuan GPS. GPS memungkinkan piranti Anda memberitahu lokasi piranti setiap saat.

Fungsi utama GPS adalah untuk pemetaaan dan pencarian lokasi dan arah, tapi dengan sedikit kreativitas, Anda bisa memanfaatkannya untuk hal lain, misalnya rekomendasi tempat-tempat menarik di sekitar lokasi Anda, menampilkan titik-titik kemacetan lalu-lintas atau lainnya.

Selain teknologi GPS, layanan berbasis lokasi dapat memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai berikut:
Galileo, teknologi ini adalah teknologi yang serupa dengan GPS, dikembangkan di Eropa. Pada saat ini biasanya digunakan bersama-sama dengan GPS.
Triangulisasi menara seluler (Cell-ID), posisi piranti Anda ditentukan dengan menggunakan data jarak ponsel Anda terhadap tiga menara seluler terdekat. Beberapa operator telepon seluler menyediakan layanan ini sehingga di layar ponsel Anda dapat muncul informasi lokasi Anda meskipun piranti ponsel Anda tidak memiliki GPS.
Wifi, jarak piranti terhadap suatu Wifi hotspot publik yang telah diketahui lokasinya dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menentukan lokasi piranti bergerak.

Teknologi-teknologi tersebut memiliki kelebihan dan kelemahan. Ada yang akurasinya rendah tapi murah atau bahkan gratis, ada yang akurasinya tinggi tapi berbayar. Ada yang sekedar menampilkan data lokasi koordinat bujur dan lintang, ada yang lengkapi dengan data ketinggian.
Sistem koordinat geografis
Untuk keperluan pemetaan (sehingga Anda tahu Anda di mana saat ini), permukaan bumi dipetakan menggunakan sistem koordinat 2D. Tiap titik di permukaan bumi di acu oleh dua besaran yakni latitude dan longitude.

Latitude (lintang) adalah jarak anguler arah Utara atau Selatan terhadap khatulistiwa dan dinyatakan dalam satuan sudut derajat ° dan dapat ditambahkan menit dan detik untuk pengukuran yang lebih rinci. Contoh daerah Kutub Utara memiliki latitude +90° dan Kutub Selatan memiliki nilai latitude -90°. Kota Pontianak memiliki latitude 0°.

Longitude (bujur) adalah jarak anguler arah Timur atau Barat terhadap Prime Meridian yang melintasi Greenwich, Inggris. Longitude juga dinyatakan dalam satuan sudut derajat ° dan dapat ditambahkan menit dan detik untuk pengukuran yang lebih rinci. Longitude berkisar -180° (ke arah Barat) hingga +180° (ke arah Timur). Greenwich ditentukan berada pada longitude 0°.

Bagaimana GPS bekerja?
Teknologi Global Positioning System (GPS) adalah teknologi sistem navigasi yang awalnya dikembangkan untuk menunjang kegiatan militer namun kemudian dibuka untuk umum. Teknologi GPS terdiri atas konstelasi 27 satelit yang mengorbit bumi (24 satelit aktif + 3 satelit cadangan seandainya ada yang rusak).

Tiap satelit memutari bumi dua kali dalam sehari. Orbit tiap satelit diatur sehingga di tiap titik di seluruh permukaan bumi, orang akan menemukan paling tidak 4 satelit di langit pada tiap saat. Mengapa 4 satelit? Kita akan bahas segera.

Jika kita bicara piranti GPS, ini mengacu pada piranti penerima GPS yang tugas utamanya adalah menemukan lokasi empat atau lebih satelit, mendapatkan jarak piranti penerima GPS ke masing-masing satelit dan menentukan lokasi piranti penerima GPS berdasarkan jarak piranti penerima GPS ke masing-masing satelit.

Ilustrasi cara menentukan lokasi piranti GPS adalah sebagai berikut. Piranti GPS meminta data posisi koordinat satelit A saat ini dan data jarak piranti GPS terhadap satelit A (Gambar 2a). Lingkaran menyatakan posisi piranti GPS yang mungkin. Masih terlalu banyak kemungkinan lokasinya. Piranti GPS meminta data posisi koordinat satelit B saat ini dan data jarak piranti GPS terhadap satelit B (Gambar 2b). Dari data satelit A dan B, kemungkinan lokasi piranti GPS diturunkan hanya menjadi dua lokasi (kecuali jika lingkaran A dan B tepat bersinggungan maka lokasi hanya ada satu). Untuk menentukan lokasi yang benar, piranti GPS meminta data posisi koordinat satelit C saat ini dan data jarak piranti GPS terhadap satelit C (Gambar 2c). Dari data ketiga satelit ini dapat ditentukan posisi pasti piranti GPS, hanya perkara matematis penentuan titik perpotongan tiga persamaan garis lingkaran dengan titik pusat dan jari-jari diketahui. Ini disebut 2D trilateration.

Sejatinya, teknik penentuan lokasi piranti penerima GPS menggunakan penentuan titik perpotongan empat persamaan ruang berbentuk bola (3D trilateration), bukan lingkaran, mengingat pancaran sinyal GPS dari satelit menyebar ke segala arah membentuk bola. Untuk 3D trilateration, jumlah satelit yang digunakan paling tidak adalah 4 satelit. 3D trilateration memungkinkan penentuan lokasi longitude, latitude dan altitude (ketinggian).

Di Google mamang banyak tutorial yang bisa kita cari tahu bagaimana mengambil gambar screen android tanpa nge-root. tapi kebanyakannya juga memerlukan instalasi aplikasi lain di komputer/PC yang kemudian mengsinkronisasikan gadget android utk diambil gambar layarnya. merepotkan.

Coba periksa ke system anda pada path: system/app (bisa dengan androexplorer). jika terdapat app ScreenCapture.apk, anda bisa melakukan screen shot pada gadget tanpa melakukan instalasi app lain. cukup lakukan kombinasi tombol untuk mengaktifkan service ini.

DroidSheep | Simple OpenSource Session hijacking on Android

DroidSheep.

What is this about?
If you know Firesheep or Faceniff, you probably know what this is about – one-click session hijacking using your android smartphone or tablet computer.

If you do not know one of these tools, I’ll try to explain what DroidSheep is.

Maybe you know Bob. Bob is a wellknown person and Bob loves coffee. Every morning, he takes his laptop and visits one the famous green coffee bars, has a “grande vanilla latte” and writes messages to his facebook friends. For doing that, Bob uses the coffee bars WiFi – because it´s free and fast.

One Morning, Bob is just writing a message to his girlfriend, Eve enters the coffee bar. Eve has an Android phone and Eve uses DroidSheep. After ordering a “venti caramel macchiato”, Eve sits down, takes her phone and starts browsing facebook. Using Bobs identity. She can watch at his friends. Read his messages. Write messages. Write wall posts. Remove friends. Delete Bobs account. Without getting ever in touch with Bob.

What happened?

When Bob is using the WiFi, his laptop sends all the data intended to be received by facebook, over the air to the coffee bars wireless router. As “over the air” means “captureable by everybody”, Eve (or her phone) can read all the data sent by Bob. As some data is encrypted before being sent, she cannot read Bobs facebook password, but in order not to make Bob enter his password after each click, facebook sends Bob a so called “session id” after logging in, which Bob sends with each interaction, making it possible for facebook to identify Bob. Usually only Bob knows this id, as he receives it encrypted. But when Bob uses the coffee bars WiFi, he spreads his session id over the air to everybody. So Eve takes this session id and uses it as hers – and facebook cannot determine, if Bob or Eve uses this id.

DroidSheep makes it easy to use for everybody. Just start DroidSheep, click the START button and wait until someone uses one of the supported websites. Jumping on his session simply needs one more click. That´s it.

What do you need to run DroidSheep?
- You need an android-powered device, running at least version 2.1 of Android
- You need Root-Access on your phone (link)
- You need DroidSheep (You can get it in the “GET IT” section)

Which pages does DroidSheep support?
DroidSheep nearly supports all pages using cookies!
If you want to see all cookies and capture more accounts, enable generic mode to see them. If Generic mode is disabled, you´ll only see profiles, DroidSheep recognizes – but there can be some more on the air, so give generic mode a try!

Limitations
DroidSheep now supports OPEN, WEP, WPA and WPA2 secured networks.
For WPA/WPA2 it uses an DNS-Spoofing attack.
DNS-Spoofing, means it makes all devices within the network think, the DroisSheep-device is the router and sending their data to the device. This might have an impact to the network and cause connection problems or bandwith-limitations – and it can be spotted. DroidSheeps attack can not, as it only reads the packets sent over the WiFi, but instead of dismissing them, it uses the data

How does this work?
When you use web applications, they usually require you to enter your credentials in order to verify your identity. To avoid entering the credentials at every action you do, most web applications use sessions where you need to log-in once. A sessions gets identified by a session token which is in possession of the user and is sent together with any subsequent request within the HTTP packets.
DroidSheep reads all the packets sent via the wireless network and captures this session token, what allows you to use this session token as yours and make the web application think you are the person identified by this token. There is no possibility for the server to determine if you’re the correct person or not.

DroidSheep is NOT INTENDED TO STEAL IDENTITIES.
It shall show the weak security properties of big websites just like Facebook. Please be always aware of what you’re doing.

[3] Masuk ke setting/wireless & network settings/Thetering & portable hotspot , Pada Port. Wi-Fi hotpsot settings, silahkan isi nama akses point serta password di “Configure Wi-Fi hotspot”. kemudian Aktifkan atau beri tanda centang pada “Portable Wi-Fi hotspot”.

[4] Sekarang Gadget anda sudah menjadi sebuah wi-fi akses poin. Silahkan konek ke internet dengan laptop anda.

Untuk mempercepat akses ke internet, coba lakukan langkah2 dibawah ini.

Tethering Widget
Pada gadget, Anda bisa memudahkan akses dengan menginstall widget shortcut “Tethering Widget” di market android (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.achmyr.android.froyo&feature=order_history) .

Widget ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengaktifkan fitur Thethering langsung dari halaman depan (home screen) gadget. setelah diinstall, aktifkan widget ini pada home screen (sentuh layar dan tahan, pilih Widgets dan pilih Thetering(small) atau (full).

Buat shortcut “Data Enabled”. Pada homescreen,sentuh layar dan tahan, pilih Widgets dan pilih “Data Traffic”.

Ketika shortcut “Data Enabled” dan “Tethering Widget” terletak pada homescreen, anda cukup mengaktifkan akses data internet dan tethering dengan menyentuh kedua shortcut tersebut.

Q. The loaders status says “Unsupported partition table”, why is this?
A. You’re either using GPT on a UEFI motherboard or you’ve got a locked OEM partition. Both problems can be fixed by fully formatting your entire hard drive.

Q. I received the error message “Error finding your systems active partition”, what do I have to do?
A. You need to format the whole hard drive with a program like Active@ Kill Disk. This issue is caused by your locked OEM partition. http://software.lsoft.net/boot-cd-iso.zip

Q. I received the error message “Failed to add loader to the boot code”, what do I have to do?
A. Disable any system protection. Some types of software block the loader application from installing to the boot code.

Q. I’ve used a version of the loader before and it failed to work, what do I have to do?
A. If you previously used bootsect to get back into Windows then you first need to press uninstall, reboot and then install the newest version of the loader.

Q. Why was table sorting changed so that it’s now disabled by default?
A. Some machines don’t like the table order being changed so to make the loader more system compatible we disabled it by default.

Q. I’ve previously used another activation solution and I think it’s modified my systems files, can I fix it?
A. You can first try to uninstall what you originally installed and then try running “sfc.exe /scannow” from command prompt as an administrator.

Q. I’ve got Linux on another partition/drive, is there anything I should know?
A. Use the preserve current boot code option.

Q. How can I use BitLocker, TrueCrypt or another boot manager?
A. First setup the software and then install the loader with the option selected to preserve the current boot code.

Q. I lose activation status after my systems been to sleep or has been in hibernation, can I fix it?
A. Go to the advanced options and select to disable type 4 memory, install the loader again and see if that cures it. If you’re not cured try to disable type 3 memory instead. If it still fails try selecting the legacy setting.

Q. I installed the loader and my system hangs during the boot process, can I fix it?
A. Go to the advanced options and select to disable type 4 memory, install the loader again and see if that cures it. If you’re not cured try to disable type 3 memory instead. If it still fails try selecting the legacy setting.

Q. I installed the loader and rebooted but I’m not activated. The loader application displays the message “BAD SLIC SIZE” or “BAD SLIC DATA”, can I fix it?
A. Uninstall the loader, power down and then boot up the system again. Go to the applications advanced options and select to ignore the existing SLIC and then press install.

Q. Why not use an E edition of Windows 7?
A. Because they were never officially released and I can’t guarantee the E editions will remain activated.

The loader doesn’t work when the systems using GPT via UEFI. The workaround is to pre-format your hard drive so that it uses MBR instead.

From your BIOS select to boot the Windows DVD without UEFI, go to the repair options, select command prompt and then enter this:

select partition 1
format fs=ntsf quick

Boot the Windows DVD the same way you did the first time and then continue with the installation of Windows. Once complete you can install the loader.

If a certificate or SLIC is released and I have not put out a new version of my application simply create two folders, one called “Certificates” and another called “SLICs”.

In each folder put the files you want to add support for, just be sure you label the files like this:

When using external files all preset internals will be ignored. This is a cleaner approach for users who want to build their own list without my presets getting in the way.
